Pantaloons Femina Miss India (PFMI) national beauty contest is a colorful ceremony, which will be held in India. This ceremony annually selects three beautiful winners. The crown allots the three winners in three different categories such as Miss India World, Miss India Earth and Miss India International. The winner of Miss India World will take part in the Miss World competition. The winner of Miss India Earth will competes in Miss Earth and the beauty with the crown of Miss India international will compete in Miss International.
In this year 2012, the Miss India contest was held in Mumbai. The selection for three beauties consists of three categories, the crown of Miss India World goes to Vanya Mishra a 19year old girl from Chandigarh and Prachi Mishra a 24 year old girl from Pune grabbed the title Miss Earth. Rochelle Maria Rao, a 23 year old girl from Chennai is the Miss India International.
These beauties were the finalists of the selection process. The previous year’s crown holder Hasleen Kaur, Ankita Shorey and Kanistha Dhankhar crowned the finalists with all due respect. One of the interesting moments in the event is, when the time is near to select the top contestant between the two winners. The picking made quite easy by Vanya Mishra. The question to her is to select between 1000 permanent jobs and to feed 1000 deprived kids. She picks the second option which made her to walk down with the crown.
The Miss India event held in Mumbai features some of the important Bollywood stars Sonam Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar performs on the stage. It also involves the film director Rohit Shetty, cricketer Harbhajan Singh; Designer Raghavendra Rathore adds more grace to the event.
The core actors came into the part with lots of joy and fun. The viewers got the opportunity to get down to watch the show with an interest to get impressed by the current beauty. Ali Zafar gave his performance to excite the audience with the former Miss Indian beauties Neha hinge and Manasvi Mamgai.
The Madhubala performance is the highlight of the show given by the Pakistani singer.

The runner Mario Rao is a Chennai sub-urban girl who works as a TV anchor in a show. The top honors went to the Miss India and the other runners up. It was a delight to the audience and the people’s choice to select the fashion queen.
